Description
This product is a print of a piece I created in my second year of university for a module titled Response to Text. I explored the idea of using Shia scriptures and transforming them into a visual artwork that responds to this concept.
I merged Ziyarat Ashura with the theme of Karbala, both of which directly connect to this form of spiritual text, and developed this piece from that inspiration. The original was created using markers on watercolour cartridge paper.
